Say it

Printers

Tap a printer for ready / not ready and its filament slots.

Set up the Siri Shortcut (once, on the iPhone)

  1. Open Shortcuts, tap +, name it Printer (that name is what you say to Siri).
  2. Add Dictate Text. Set Stop Listening to After Pause.
  3. Add Get Contents of URL:
    • URL: https://printagosiri.printscharm.ing/api/say
    • Method: POST
    • Headers: Authorization = Bearer <your token>
    • Request Body: JSON, one field text = the Dictated Text variable
  4. Add Get Dictionary Value: key speak from Contents of URL.
  5. Add Speak Text with that value. Turn on Wait Until Finished.
  6. Optional: in the shortcut's details, enable Show on Apple Watch and add it to the Home Screen.

Then: “Hey Siri, Printer” → “C C five ready” · “U one three not ready” · “disable A one two” · “what's printing” · “put black P L A in C C five” · “U one two slot three orange PETG” · “what filament does P one S four have”.

Sets work too: “all the U ones ready” · “every Centauri that is not printing, not ready” · “C C one two and three ready” · “C C one through four black P L A” · “all Bambus that are idle, ready” · “disable all offline printers” · “how are the P one S” · “what filaments are in all the U ones” · “all printers status”.

Say printer names as letters and digits: C C five, U one three, P one S two, A one mini one, H two C one, A two L one. Families: “the U ones”, “Centauris”, “Bambus”, “A one minis”. Filters: “that aren't printing”, “idle”, “offline”, “not ready”. Say “spool” for the external spool on a Bambu, “slot N” for an AMS slot, “spool one to four” on a U1.
